Congratulations to the BHP $3.6 billion South Flank Project on the Mulla Mulla Village Expansion project near Newman, Western Australia. Located in the Pilbara mining region some 1,300 kms north of Perth, Mulla Mulla Village was recently named the #1 mining camp in Australia by @Australasian Mine Safety Journal!

Tetra Tech Proteus is proud to have partnered with BHP in the architectural and engineering design on BHPs expansion of the original village from 500 to 3,000 room capacity.

Lead architect, Michael Rodrigo (pictured) is just one of the many Tetra Tech Proteus team members who specialise in mining infrastructural design who called the village ‘home’ across the 2 year project.
