Raygen resources solar pilot plant

RayGen Resources built Australia’s first concentrated solar photovoltaic (CSPV) generator based on Tetra Tech Proteus engineering, design and construction management at the Fortescue Metals’ Karntama Camp, in the Pilbara.

Developed in Australia, the technology for this generator provides reliable, economical, on-demand solar power using mirrors to concentrate light on ultra-efficient photovoltaic cells which were originally developed for spacecraft.

RayGen and Tetra Tech Proteus have been partners since RayGen was founded in 2010.
